Responsibilities

Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies.
Participate in the change management process.
Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities, and create counteractive strategies to protect the network.
Conducting ITGC assessments to ensure that controls are designed and operating effectively to mitigate risks.
Identifying and assessing ITGC risks associated with the organization's IT infrastructure.
Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures.
Communicate complex technical issues in simplified terms to the relevant staff.
Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations.
Review, evaluate, and test application controls.
Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks.
Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes.

Skills

An in-depth understanding of computer systems and their operation.
Knowledge of IT audit frameworks, such as COBIT and ISO 27001.
Excellent spoken and written communication to explain your methods to a technical and non-technical audience.
Attention to detail, to be able to plan and execute tests while considering client requirements.
The ability to think creatively and strategically to penetrate security systems.
Good time management and organizational skills to meet client deadlines.

Qualifications

A degree in information technology/computer information systems or related.
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Lead Auditor, is a plus.
Financial and IT application experience.
Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
3+ years of experience in the related field.
Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking and Writing).
