Job Description

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage with our audience, and drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a deep understanding of platform dynamics, and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience

Responsibilities

Strategy Development Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives. Identify target audiences, key messaging, and content themes to effectively engage with followers and drive brand awareness

Content Creation Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Develop multimedia content such as graphics, videos, and written posts that align with brand voice and resonate with the target audience

Campaign Management Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive engagement, increase followers, and support marketing initiatives. Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum impact

Social Listening Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement. Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and best practices to maintain a competitive edge

Analytics and Reporting Track and analyze key performance metrics across social media platforms. Generate regular reports to evaluate the success of social media efforts, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize performance

Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product development, to ensure alignment of social media strategies with overall business objectives. Coordinate content creation, promotions, and product launches to maximize impact across channels

 

Requirements

Education Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Relevant coursework or certifications in social media marketing is a plus

Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting. Demonstrated track record of managing social media accounts and executing successful campaigns

Platform Proficiency In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,. Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms

Creativity Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative content ideas and campaigns that resonate with the target audience. Strong storytelling skills and an eye for design

Communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to craft compelling content, engage with followers, and communicate brand messaging effectively across social media platforms

Analytical Skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics, track performance trends, and derive actionable insights to inform decision-making

Organizational Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
