Job Description

Managing all the activities of the software development lifecycle, Frontend and Backend

Writing, reviewing, and revising product requirements and specifications

Work with key stakeholders, business units, and customers to identify and prioritize product features and functionalities

Managing the software development team, providing training, support, and technical advisory

Assessing the Integration requirements with other modules

Provide advisory regarding Database Architecture and design

Provide advisory regarding UI design, code activities, and unit testing

Working closely with the Scrum Master to guarantee compliancy with Scrum practices. Monitoring, evaluating, and ensuring the completion of tasks and projects

Documenting software development by coordination with the Documentation Department.

Providing consultation in other areas of the software development process and modules

Researching, and investigating new technologies

Hire, mentor, and coach Software Development Engineers at different levels of experience

Qualifications

Head of Software Development Unit should hold a postgraduate degree in one of the following sciences

Information Technology

Computer Science

Computer Software/Computer Systems Engineering

Electronics/Telecommunications

IT & Business Administration

Experiences and Skills

At least 10 years of hands-on experience in the software development and related technologies

General Business and Integration logic

Relational Database technologies, preferably Oracle, (Oracle APEX is a plus)

Designing software architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance

Scrum Methodologies and practices

Excellent Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Strong Administrative, leadership, mentoring and organizational skills

Time Management

Exceptional troubleshooting skills
