Scope of the work

Sales Officer is responsible for developing business goals by finding leads closing sales deals with existing clients or new prospects and managing the entire tendering process from market research and bid preparation to compliance and stakeholder engagement ensuring competitive and successful bids

Main Responsibilities

Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal

Supporting the overall bidding process including but not limited to attending bid meetings preparing documents etc

Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships

Present our company to potential clients

Provide professional after sales support to maximize customer loyalty

Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data

Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails

Making pitches to win new business

Suggesting innovative ways to increase sales

Creating and recommending solutions to the clients requests and needs

Responsible for updating the database of potential clients

Sending the requested report to the client and making sure its analyzed based on the clients request

Education and experience requirements

Bachelors in business administration or equivalent (Public relations Sales Marketing)

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative Sales Account Executive tendering specialist or similar role

Competencies

Hands on experience with MS Office Suite (particularly MS Word and MS Excel)

 Ability to deliver engaging presentations

Knowledge of market research sales and negotiating principles

Ability to sense good business deals and seal them

Understanding your Clients Business  Needs

English skills: Written (highly proficient) Listening (Very Good)  Spoken (Very Good)

Strong teamwork abilities

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

Excellent presentation skills and ability to build relationships

Effective organizing and coordinating skills
