Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing design solutions that effectively communicate our brand message and meet the objectives of our marketing and communication initiatives. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop creative concepts, and produce high-quality visual assets across a variety of mediums

Responsibilities

Conceptualize and Design Develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Produce high-quality visual assets for digital and print mediums, including but not limited to, websites, social media graphics, marketing collateral, presentations, and advertising materials

Collaborate and Communicate Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with brand standards. Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs as needed

Lead and Mentor Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the team. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in design principles, techniques, and tools

Stay Current Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design techniques to continually improve skills and stay ahead of the curve. Apply innovative thinking and creative problem-solving to design challenges

Maintain Brand Consistency Ensure consistency and coherence in visual identity across all brand touchpoints. Uphold brand standards and guidelines while exploring creative opportunities to elevate brand perception

Manage Projects Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of design assets while maintaining quality and accuracy

 

Requirements

Education Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus

Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects across various mediums. Previous experience in a senior or lead designer role is highly desirable

Proficiency Expertise in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Proficient in both Mac and PC platforms. Knowledge of prototyping tools and motion graphics software is a plus

Creative Skills Exceptional design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and composition. Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling visual solutions. Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography

Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing client relationships

Adaptability Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity

Portfolio A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including digital and print materials. Portfolio should demonstrate creativity, technical proficiency, and the ability to effectively communicate brand messaging through visual storytelling
